What’s Up? Wednesday
Do you miss seeing your Junior League friends over the summer months? No worries, we’re introducing “What’s Up? Wednesday” once a month. This is a fun way to catch up and enjoy some conversation (perhaps a few cocktails as well!). This is also an chance for those interested in becoming a member of the JLW to meet some of our members and to learn about all the unique opportunities our league has to offer. All members are welcome! The first “What’s Up? Wednesday” will take place at The Birchtree Bread Company at Crompton Place in Worcester. Wednesday just happens to be pizza and music night, so the perfect time to meet. These are fun, casual events, so join us if you can, bring your friends (and your wallet, you’re on your own or drinks and food) and we can’t wait to catch up with all of you! Check Companio for more information.
Don’t forget about our next New Member Class!

welcome to your junior league
Since 1925, the Junior League of Worcester has continued to grow by improving and enriching the quality of life for women and children. Through a shared mission, league members work to make a difference through individual and collaborative efforts. The JLW has committed itself to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the leadership and effective action of trained volunteers. We have worked collaboratively with more than 125 area organizations and have touched the lives of thousands of individuals throughout our history. While times have changed, our members still donate their time, energies and financial means to promote positive change and to secure a bright future for our city.
voluntarism & community service
We are focused on creating positive change by inspiring ourselves and those around us to bravely address the most pressing issues facing our community.
We partner with local non profits to provide trained volunteers who can fill resource gaps so that we all contribute to a better future for Worcester.
professional development & training
We develop the next generation of female civic leaders through hands-on training in non profit management and practical experience in program delivery.
The friendships made here last a lifetime. Our membership is diverse, but one thing binds us together…we love the community and love to help other women be all that they can be.
