The Junior League of Worcester celebrated its 90th birthday with a Speak-easy Soirée on the evening of April 11th at the Worcester Club. There were delicious appetizers and signature cocktails. Lefty’s Brewery provided free tastings and Nat Needle made it feel like it was the 1920s all over again with his ragtime piano playing. Guests dressed in 1920s attire and ESL Photography and Design was there to capture all of the beautiful outfits and facilities. The honorary co-chairs were Moira Moynihan Manoog, Joan Bagley, and Wendy Innis. Moira is a member of the Worcester Club and helped the JLW secure the venue for the event. Joan and Wendy were very helpful with assisting the new members with their project, a Scavenger Hunt game that was played throughout the Soiree.
There was a wonderful selection of silent auction items for guests to bid on and raffle baskets for guests to try their luck and buy raffle tickets in the hopes of winning one! Reliant Medical Group, Bay State, and CT National Golf stepped in to be the event sponsors. Park Print was our media sponsor. A big thank you to the fundraising committee, honorary co-chairs, sponsors, donors, and all guests who attended and helped make this evening so special!
