Comedy Show to Benefit Junior League of Worcester

WORCESTER— Host Mike Theroux will emcee the comedy talents of Mike Murray, Bill Simas and special guest Dale Cover for one night only as they take to the stage on Nov. 8 at Coral Seafood, 225 Shrewsbury St., for a fundraiser to benefit the Junior League of Worcester.

Murray, also known in as “The Deaf Comic” has been making New Englanders laugh for with his life stories since taking to the stage at age 40. Simas began his comedic journey in 2005 with the Rhode Island Comedy Factory and has hosted comedy shows from Connecticut to Nevada. Murray and Simas will also be joined by Cover, who also shares his comedic prose for good causes around New England.

Tickets will be available for the Junior League’s Lottery Tree fundraiser: $10 buys a ticket for the chance to win $1,000 worth of scratch tickets. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold. The winning ticket will be drawn in January. A 50/50 raffle will also be held. Proceeds benefit the Junior League’s programs and scholarships that are shared throughout the Worcester community.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the show from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance at (508) 854-9922 or at www.jlwma.org.
